We source our materials in a way that helps the environment. Our beech wood comes largely from a sustainable forest in nearby Northern France and our baizes come from manufacturers in Lancashire and Europe.
Our hinged-leg models incorporate a patented hinge. The legs lock into position and can be quickly released for storage. FIxed leg models are popular in games rooms, bridge clubs, hotels, golf clubs and cruise ships.
Pelissier card tables have been made since 1955 when the original three-part hinge was designed and patented. The tables were made in France at a small factory and were supplied to bridge clubs throughout Europe. In 2015 the French company sold the patents, machinery and brand to us and we now produce the tables in Yorkshire.
